there are so many exciting thing happening at the farm this week, i can barely contain my excitement.
our subscription deadline was on monday and boy did you people come through!
we also have three more potential restaurant/grocery store clients! `
elle and i secured our west omaha location for the cooking classes. starting in may, we will be offering a cooking class, one tuesday a month, at the heartland cafe in elkhorn ne. those will be going up for sale next week. in addition, we will be offering second cooking class at a TBD downtown/midtown location. look for details soon!
my recipe for sausage, bean, and kale stew was a contest winner on one of my most favorite blogs, dinner a love story! i won a $75 gift certificate to Allmodern. all clad french skillets, here i come.
marcia, one of our interns, will also be nannying for us this summer. she and hendrix met this week and they got along famously. thank the lord for wonderful nannies!
thanks to great advice/support from great people, clementine's p+p is going to hopefully have the chance to donate surplus veggies to organizations like the heart ministry, sienna francis house, and a local women's shelter.
this year is going to be our year and i can't wait to share it will all of you! xoxo
